Hotel Creu de Tau Art & Spa - Adults Only

“Our stay at Hotel Creu de Tau was one of the highlights of our time in Mallorca. Our room was spacious, clean, and had quality furnishings including a very comfortable bed. Watching the sunset on our balcony overlooking Capedpera and the Castle was a great way to end each day. The common areas such as the pool, spa, restaurant, and bar are all beautiful, unique, and integrate the history of the building extremely well, providing a classical Spanish feel while being modern where appropriate. Aside from the amazing rooms and unique property, the service from the staff was excellent and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Roberto especially went above and beyond multiple times providing world-class hospitality making us feel like more than just guests. Breakfast service was delicious and we ate one dinner at the restaurant which was also incredible especially given the price and convenience of it being right inside the hotel. There are no negatives of this hotel besides maybe the location which essentially requires a car but after driving around Mallorca all day and fighting the crowds we were happy to return to our quiet hotel with a spacious, free parking lot situated a short drive away from the crowded Cala Ratjada.”

We had a very nice experience staying here, starting from the tour that Svetlana gave us upon arrival, to the scenic pool view, wonderful art everywhere, gorgeous design and history, attention to details to the delicious food! I just left the hotel and I already miss it :)”

“Very nice and relaxing small hotel. Staff were always very helpful with everything, including finding quiet places for my 18 year old son to study for his exams. Staff were always very helpful giving local advice such as restaurants etc. The hotel has only around 30ish rooms but it's very spacious so it feels very quiet and relaxing atmosphere even when it was fully booked. Designwise it's a nice hotel with both a modern and old feel (old converted convent). Facilities are good. The spa is nice and quiet and better than you'll find in other hotels around. The outdoor pool area is very nice with gorgeous views over the Capdepera Castle. We had to rooms, one with the jacuzzi overlooking the Castle. This was a very nice thing to have. Using the jacuzzi under the stars was very special. The second room didn't have a jacuzzi but still a decent balcony overlooking the Castle and very spacious inside. Both rooms were great with super comfy large king size beds and very good bathroom facilities. We were sad to go and definitely will consider coming back. If you are looking for a small boutique hotel with good Spa facilities and walking access to an authentic non turistic town and short drive to gorgeous beaches this place should be on your bucket list. Some minor things we didn't like is hearing the odd full blast noisy motorbike passing by near the pool. This only happened occasionally, but note this hotel is within a town, so even though is a very relaxed place it's not lime being completely isolated. This has the advantage of being able to walk to cafes, restaurants and the Castle though. We found the restaurant overpriced (I was told it's a separate business). Apart from the included breakfast buffet, which was good quality, the dinner was overpriced and not the quality that the place deserves. Having said this, the restaurant staff were incredibly helpful with everything including finding a quiet room for my son to study (special mention to Robert and a young lady from Arta who's name escaped). I think the chef tries too hard and would be better to make simpler food and get it right.”

“My husband and I had the loveliest honeymoon at Creu de Tau - it is a beautiful, quiet, and very relaxing hotel. We loved the indoor spa, the views by the outdoor pool, and the restaurant was fantastic. We can't wait to stay again!”
